Add the optional ones (black pepper, nutmeg, garlic) and mix until well integrated.
Gradually add the grated cheese as fine as possible and mix gently and constantly until a creamy and silky sauce is achieved.
Enjoy!

Notes
There are many Alfredo Sauce recipes. With the optional ones that I mentioned before, with tomato or bacon. The same happens with the amounts of each ingredient. All of this is optional. This is a basic recipe and how I prepare it. From this recipe you can modify it to your liking.
It is very important to grate the cheese as finely as possible. In this way it will be easier to integrate it and achieve a much silkier sauce with a more pleasant texture. The same goes for garlic.
If you use white wine, add it after the cheese. NOT BEFORE!
A super good twist for this sauce is with fresh tomato and Italian Nduja.
Sauté the Nduja in a saucepan with just a few drops of olive oil for 2 minutes.
Add the fresh tomato cut into cubes and without the pulp.
Add the previously prepared Alfredo sauce and cook for two more minutes.
