1 kitchen torch. (Is better if you have one but not mandatory).
Ingredients
½very ripe banana.(For the mix).
½banana not very ripe.(For decoration).
1thick slice of bread.
Dulce de leche.(Optional).
Sugar.
1Egg.
Milk.
Instructions
Blend a third of the ripe banana with the milk, a teaspoon of sugar and a few drops of vanilla essence.
Beat an egg and add a little milk. Approximately 70% egg and 30% milk mixture.
Soak a slice of thick bread in the mixture until it absorbs as much as possible. This may take a few minutes .
In a pan with a little butter, cook the slice of bread over low heat on both sides until the egg is cooked but the bread is not too toasted.
For the caramel there are two options:- 1. Cover the toast with a spoon of sugar and burn it with a blowtorch.- 2. If you don't have a blowtorch, remove the toast from the pan.Grease the pan lightly and add a spoonful of sugar in the center.Put the toast on the sugar and cook it for a few minutes over high heat until the sugar caramelizes.
Complete with a few slices of not very ripe banana that maintains its hardness.
Enjoy!
