- 400 grams Unsalted butter (14.10oz)
Melt the butter over medium heat. When it's almost melted lower to minimum heat.
While it is melting and once melted, with the help of a slotted spoon or spoon, remove the foam on the surface.
Once finished melting, let it decant for a minute so that the remains settle on the bottom of the pot and the clarified butter remains on top.
Separate by carefully pouring the butter leaving the remains at the bottom filtering it with a cloth filter.
Done!
Is much better if you use homemade butter. Here the recipe.
With 400 grams (14.10oz) of butter you get about ½ liter of clarified butter.
