Ingredients
  

  • Oil. (Sunflower or olive).
  • 1.2 kg squid. (42.32 oz).
  • Flour. (as needed).

Instructions
 

  • Cut the squid into rings about 3cm wide.

  • Wash them and dry them well with kitchen paper.
  • Preheat the oil to 210°c (410°f). The temperature seems a bit high but keep in mind that when you put the rings in the oil this temperature will drop instantly.
    That is why it is important not to overfill the pot with the rings. It is better to cook them a few than many together.

  • Dredge the squid rings through the flour and put them in the oil.
    Between 2 and 3 minutes is enough cooking.
    When you see a light golden colour on your rings, it's done.
