Strawberry Cream Rum Cocktail
Strawberries & Cream with a rum twist. Sweet, silky, and hits just right.
Ingredients
- 60 ml Rum.
- 30 ml Homemade strawberry syrup.
- 30 ml whipped cream.
- A few drops of lime juice.
Instructions
- Strawberry syrup: Quarter the strawberries and add plenty of sugar so that they are all well coated when mixed.
- Let it sit for 6 hours in the refrigerator.
- Strain and set aside the resulting syrup.
- Cocktail: Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
- Add the rum, strawberry syrup, lime and cream.
- Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds (or blend if you want a frozen, creamy slushie-like drink).
- Serve in a chilled glass, straining out the ice if you prefer it on the rocks, or simply serve it with crushed ice.
- Garnish with a strawberry if you have one left, or leave it plain—it's delicious as is.
