Pad Thai Noodles
Noodles with Pad Thai sauce
Equipment
- 1 Big pan
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp pad thai paste
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 teaspoon ginger (Optional)
- 150 grams fresh pasta (8.81 oz) (Whatever you like)
- 1 bunch green onion
- 1 bunch coriander
- 1 bunch king prawns
- ½ teaspoon sesame seeds (Grounded)
- 1 splash olive oil
- 1 teaspoon lime zest
- 1 clove garlic
Instructions
- Sauce: Mix well the pad thai pasta, the sake or the Mirin in a bowl. You can add oyster sauce or fish sauce at your taste.3 tbsp pad thai paste, 1 tbsp sake, 1 tbsp mirin, 1 teaspoon ginger
- Pasta: Previously cook the pasta in boiling salted water. A good idea is to boil the pasta in vegetables broth.Fresh pasta cooks very fast. Just two or three minutes is usually enough depending of their thickness.150 grams fresh pasta
- Sauté the scallions and half clove of garlic with olive oil. Usually two or three minutes is enough.1 bunch green onion, 1 clove garlic, 1 splash olive oil
- Add the previously cooked shrimp (you can also buy them already cooked) and cook then again for a few seconds.1 bunch king prawns
- Add the noodles and cook everything for a few more seconds over low heat.150 grams fresh pasta
- Add the sauce to the pan.
- Finish with lime zest.1 teaspoon lime zest
- Decorate with small chopped coriander, sesame seeds or whatever you like.½ teaspoon sesame seeds, 1 bunch coriander
- Optionally can be added Katsuobushi or replace prawns with fish stick threads.
