Banoffee Pie
Easy ans super declious.
Ingredients
- Your favorite cookies I use the digestive ones.
- Dulce de leche Caramel sauce.
- Double cream.
- Xantham gum. (One teaspoon per liter)
- Bananas.
- Spreadable butter.
- Vanilla essence
- Icing sugar.
Instructions
- Cream:Blend the banana with a hand blender.
- Beat the cream, with the sugar, vanilla essence, banana and xanthan gum until you obtain a really firm cream.
- Pie:Grind the cookies and add melted butter (a little) until you obtain a wet sand-like texture.
- Put the mixture in an individual container as a base.
- On that base, put a good layer of dulce de leche.
- On top of that, put a layer of bananas cut into slices.
- Complete with cream.
- Enjoy!

Notes
- The amount of each ingredient is to taste and depends on the sizes of the individual portions and the quantity to be prepared.
- Why spreadable butter?
Because being softer than regular butter you will obtain a base that is much friendlier and easier to eat. - A good tip: To spread the dulce de leche on the base, you can use a spoon moistened with very hot water. This way it will slide very easily over the dulce de leche and it will not stick to the spoon.
- A very good idea is to add a little drop Baileys over the cream or if you want, IN the cream.
