Oven Leg Of Lamb
Port Wine marinated.
Ingredients
- Port wine.
- Honey.
- Garlic puree.
- Salt.
- Black pepper.
- Leeks.
- Carrots.
- Shallots.
- Olive oil. (Extra virgin).
Instructions
- Make a mix with garlic puree, port wine and honey and set aside.Port wine., Honey., Garlic puree.
- Cut the shallots, carrots and leeks the way you want. I cut leeks in Julienne. Shallots and carrots y medium pieces. Use a lot of these ingredients to get a good amount of sauce too.Leeks., Carrots., Shallots.
- Put them in a tray and add some salt, black pepper and olive oil.Salt., Olive oil., Black pepper.
- Put the lamb leg over and paint the leg with the wine mix we made before.
- Add salt and black pepper.
- Bring to the oven at 120°c for about 3 hours.
- During this time, every 20 minutes or half hour paint again de lamb with the mix. You can also marinate the lamb previously of cook it.

- It tooks a long time to cook but very easy and take a short time of preparation.
- You can cook all ingredients in a Turkey bag for about 4 hours at 140°c and get a lamb less roasted but more tender. At your taste.
