Clarified Butter
Great for sautéing fish, making hollandaise or other sauce, etc.
Ingredients
- 400 grams Unsalted butter (14.10oz)
 
Instructions
- Melt the butter over medium heat. When it's almost melted lower to minimum heat.
 - While it is melting and once melted, with the help of a slotted spoon or spoon, remove the foam on the surface.
 - Once finished melting, let it decant for a minute so that the remains settle on the bottom of the pot and the clarified butter remains on top.
 - Separate by carefully pouring the butter leaving the remains at the bottom filtering it with a cloth filter.
 - Done!

With 400 grams (14.10oz) of butter you get about ½ liter of clarified butter.
