Ingredients
  

  • 400 grams Unsalted butter (14.10oz)

Instructions
 

  • Melt the butter over medium heat. When it's almost melted lower to minimum heat.
    Melt the butter
  • While it is melting and once melted, with the help of a slotted spoon or spoon, remove the foam on the surface.
    Remove the foam
  • Once finished melting, let it decant for a minute so that the remains settle on the bottom of the pot and the clarified butter remains on top.
    Let the butter decant
  • Separate by carefully pouring the butter leaving the remains at the bottom filtering it with a cloth filter.
    Filter the butter
  • Done!

Notes

Is much better if you use homemade butter. Here the recipe.
With 400 grams (14.10oz) of butter you get about ½ liter of clarified butter.
