Sablée Shortcrus Pastry
Crumbly and crunchy, ideal for cakes and cookies.
Ingredients
- 300 grams soft butter.
- 200 grams icing sugar.
- 2 lemon zest.
- 500 grams plain flour.
- 2 egg.
- 1 pinch salt.
- 2 teaspoon vanilla.
Instructions
- Beat the butter and sugar, then add the egg, salt, and lime zest.
- Gradually add the flour, kneading as little as possible to prevent gluten development.
- Let it rest in the refrigerator for half an hour.
- Oven bake at 160 degrees for 12 minutes.
