Broccoli And Sardo Cheese Croquettes
Tasty as a side dish or finger food.
Ingredients
- Broccoli.
- Sardo cheese.
- Plain flour.
- Egg.
- Salt.
- Black pepper.
- Sunflower oil.
- Olive oil.
Instructions
- Cut the broccoli branches, removing as much of the trunk as possible.Broccoli.
- Blanch it boiling it for 2 or 3 minutes and put them in cold water to stop cooking.
- Drain well to remove excess water.
- Grate the Sardo cheese medium finely.Sardo cheese.
- Chop the broccoli into small pieces with a knife. Do not blend it so as not to lose its texture.
- Mix the broccoli with the cheese, the egg, the flour and a pinch of salt and black pepper.Add more flour if necessary until a medium firm and stable texture is achieved.Plain flour., Egg., Salt., Black pepper.
- Dredge the croquette in flour and shape it.
- Put the croquettes in the freezer for approximately 10 minutes. Do not freeze them, the idea is that they take a firmer consistency so that they do not fall apart when frying.
- Heat a mixture of sunflower oil and olive oil to 200 degrees Celsius.Sunflower oil., Olive oil.
- Fry the croquettes for two or three minutes until golden brown.
